Ben holds a number of patents for his revolutionary accomplishments in plastic engineering, beginning with the invention of his light diffusing optical panels and continuing to his current exploration of circular and cylindrical designs.
His education and work experience as a plastics and optical engineer has given him the professional skills and scientific rigor to constantly explore and create dynamic and innovative approaches to public art.
A born sensualist, Ben understands there is no better way to recycle plastic and glass than turning it into art that allows us to view the depth and beauty of light.

As the lead fabricator for Twin Lanterns, she manufactured 1500 square feet of recycled plastic filters while continuing to direct and inspire the installation of Ben’s first large-scale public project.
